Murray Rankin
Managing Director
Murray has forged a remarkable career in the IT, R&D and Innovation industries.
In 1997 he co-founded The Distillery Pty Ltd with the vision to revolutionise security software globally. With his co-founder,he grew the company to over 120 employees across Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Asia, London and Washington, and was awarded an Australia Day Medal in recognition of his contribution to Australia's law enforcement and security.
Murray is a founding committee member of the Australian Information Industry Association ACT Branch, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and the former director and Deputy Chair of Crime Stoppers ACT. He is currently a board member and Chairman of numerous national and international organisations, a member of several government innovation initiatives and supports a range of volunteer organisations.
Murray maintains a particular interest in business planning, strategy development, and capital raising, and as an in-demand authority and speaker on entrepreneurial and organisational challenges and has been an occasional guest lecturer at the ANU Graduate School of Management, Melbourne Business School, and Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
